Here it is! The state record 13lb. 11oz. Trout caught by Jim Wallace of Houston in
early February, 1996. The fish was 33 1/4" long. It was among a large school of
trophy Trout Wallace and 2 fishing buddies came upon while wading a mud flat on the
northern shore of Baffin. The big fish hit a slow sinking Corky lure. 13 other fish over
28" were caught on this same trip. this is considered the most prestigious of all
saltwater bay records.
